[SOLVED]Flashing Nordic Softdevice with J-Link EDU

Hi,
I own a J-Link EDU, so I can't flash my device directly. I'm debugging a Nordic nRF51822 (cortex-m0) target with GDB server via SWD and it works just fine.
For some features of the nRF, like bluetooth, a softdevice (basically an optimized driver for the nRF bluetooth module) has to be flashed before the user binary. This softdevice is available only as binary/hex file, not as source.

Is there any way to do this with the J-Link EDU, without buying a J-flash license?
Can I modify my makefile in a way to combine both hex files?

Hi,

Flashing binary (*.bin) files is possible with J-Link Commander.
Just start it the following way:

JLink.exe -if SWD -device nRF51822 -speed 4000

Then type:
J-Link>r
J-Link>loadbin <Path>,<DownloadAddr>

Best regards
